Ringing In the New Year
We had such a wonderful time celebrating the New Year! On NYE we had a delicious dinner at our favorite spot in town, Gian Marco's and went on to play LCR and THINGS until the wee hours of the morning with some of our closest friends. It was such a wonderful night followed by a delicious meal with family the next day to cure the "cocktail flu".
I love making a New Years Day food just like my Grandmother does. Everyone needs luck and money in the new year so pile on black eyed peas and greens. I myself enjoy some carbs and would eat bread with every meal if I could. I found a rosemary roll recipe by The Pioneer Woman that has been a hit at my house lately. If you are having bread with a meal soon this is the way to go. So easy and delicious! It is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Frozen, Unbaked Dinner Rolls
Melted Butter, Regular, Salted

Spray a small iron skillet with cooking spray (or coat with olive oil). Place frozen rolls in the skillet, leaving plenty of room for rising. Cover and allow to rise for several hours.
After rising, brush rolls with melted butter.
Sprinkle on chopped rosemary. Brush with additional butter. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
Bake according to roll package directions (usually 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes), until rolls are a deep golden brown on top.
