Trader Joe's Shopping List

Trader Joe's Shopping List

So, Trader Joe's opened in Birmingham two years ago and our grocery list has never been the same. I know some people go into TJ's and are totally overwhelmed by the variety and unfamiliarity of products. I've basically experimented on every shopping trip and wanted to share some items we've come to love!

If you are having people over or taking someone dinner these are PERFECT. They are mini cheesecake squares with swirls of their cookie butter on top. Take them out of the freezer and thaw them in the fridge about two hours before serving. Delicious is an understatement!

This has become one of our absolute favorite weeknight dinners. A simple homemade pizza with a side salad and you're finished! They have all the other ingredients you need right next to the dough so no searching around the store for other items.

I know every girl out there is supposed to be like, Rosé ALL DAY. I am not usually a huge fan, but this bottle is very light and crisp... and for $6.99! Take this to your next afternoon shindig.

WARNING: These are addictive. I've had these in my office recently and it has become a problem. Mix of milk and dark chocolate for the perfect bite. Need I say more?

Who doesn't love a good salsa? This one has just enough kick and flavor! I've started adding it to my white chicken chili and enchiladas. Too good.

My friend Jill is responsible for my obsession with this risotto. It is way too easy and tastes like you made it from scratch. We've been using it as a side dish lately. Great weeknight go-to.

So, bacon... My husband loves it and I tried for the longest to keep it on hand. It usually ended being partially used and went bad. This fully cooked bacon saved the day! It keeps well since it is already cooked and only takes a few seconds to crisp.

When I first tried this dressing I was on a kick for a few months. It is great for salad dressing but I also use it to marinate veggies or chicken.

All you have to do is toss this ravioli around in a pan with some olive oil and it is ready to serve. I like to top it with a little shredded Parmesan cheese. Go get a package now! You will not regret it.

I love Chinese and Japanese food but don't love the way I feel after eating it. Trader Joe's Orange Chicken has changed that. I've added this to the list of meals we rotate. I do brown rice and sauteed veggies with this package for the perfect meal. Will actually requests it now!

I usually prefer salty foods over sweet but these cinnamon rolls are worth it. They are jumbo so it actually serves 5 people. I made these recently with a big bowl of fruit. Success!

I have a weakness for cheese. Honestly, it is one of my favorite foods. This English Cheddar with Truffles is a splurge but if you like truffles you'll soon be hooked!

If you are familiar with Trader Joe's you know that the flowers (and prices) are amazing. What you may not know is that you can special order flowers to have shipped in-store. They are so helpful and happy to order whatever you'd like as long as it is available!
